We are opening a BRAND-NEW ReStore in Tigard this Spring!! We will be looking for volunteers who can help with special projects in the store before opening and continue with ongoing tasks when the store officially opens.

General Description:
ReStore volunteers support daily operations by helping receive and process donations, organize and display merchandise, and provide excellent customer service. Volunteers in this role are also responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and user-friendly ReStore.
Task Descriptions:
- Dock: Assist in screening, unloading, and organizing donations
- Processing: Sort donations, tag items, move items to the sales floor, and sort by type
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service on the dock and in the store
- Sales Floor: Merchandise items to create and maintain a safe and user-friendly shopping experience
- Reset Displays: Restock and reorganize sections of the store
- Cleaning: Sweep and keep the aisles clear of debris. Maintain common areas such as the breakroom.
Supervisor:
The Volunteer Coordinator will be the primary supervisor. However, all ReStore staff members are responsible for assisting and overseeing the work of volunteers.
Physical Requirements:
This role includes walking, standing, potentially squatting or crouching, pushing carts, moving items on dollies, and more. If you have any physical limitations, please notify the Volunteer Coordinator.
Dress Code:
Close-toed shoes, pants knee-length or longer, t-shirt/sweatshirt, comfortable loose-fitting work clothes, no sleeveless shirts or tank tops, no rips/stains/tears, etc. Recommended to wear layers as the store can vary in temperature.

- Snack/Lunch (if volunteering for longer than 2 hours)
