Opportunities From: Habitat for Humanity Portland Region

Volunteer: * Orientation | Beaverton ReStore

**If your hours are for court-mandated service, be sure you have completed your background check before signing up for this orientation.**

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Beaverton Restore!

Orientation is your very first shift -- typically 1-2 hours instead of the standard four hours. During orientation, you will be given a tour, be introduced to staff members, learn about Habitat and store operations, and get instructions on how to sign up for future shifts. We hope you will share your interests and talents with us during this introductory shift so we can help pair you with appropriate tasks and teammates.

Please select just ONE orientation shift. After you have completed this first shift, you will be able to sign up for other opportunities.

Come prepared to be on your feet for the duration of the shift (unless otherwise noted in your profile). Wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that are comfortable (most folks wear jeans and a t-shirt/sweatshirt). Please consider weather-appropriate clothing as the temperature in the store may vary greatly depending on the season.

Notes:

ReStore volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Teens 14-15 years old may volunteer with a parent chaperone. All volunteers over the age of 18 will be asked to complete a background check either before (court-mandated volunteers) or after orientation.
