Your first shift will be an abbreviated shift, two hours instead of the standard 4 hours. During the shift, you will be given a tour, be introduced to staff members, learn about store operations, and get hands on experience with basic volunteer tasks.
We encourage you to share your interests and talents with us during this introductory shift so we can help pair you with appropriate tasks and teammates for your future shifts.
Please come prepared to be on your feet for the duration of the shift. Wear close-toed shoes and clothes that are comfortable and appropriate for the weather (most folks wear jeans and a t-shirts/sweatshirt).
