Outreach Volunteer | Orientation

Join the outreach volunteer team and help bring awareness about Habitat to the community

Tasks: Organize the table with materials, greet community members, provide information about Habitat, talk about volunteer opportunities and other ways folks can engage with the organization

Volunteer Supervisor: There will always be one staff member accompanying volunteers during outreach events. This person may vary, and you will be notified about who the supervisor will be before each event.

Attire: Any Habitat gear and a nametag (provided by Habitat)

Locations: Varies but will be locations within the Portland Region (anywhere between Gresham to Hillsboro); may be outdoors or indoors depending on the event

Accessibility: This can be a seated volunteer opportunity. Chairs and a tent for shade from the sun will be available.

If you are interested, register for an orientation (locations listed below), and the Volunteer Programs Team will follow up with more instructions. An orientation is required to ensure you are as prepared as possible to be a representative of Habitat at community events. We will provide you with resources, too!
