Welcome to our LGBTQ+ Pride Community Days ReStore Event!
At Habitat for Humanity, we believe in creating inclusive and welcoming environments for every volunteer. LGBTQ+ Pride Community Days offer safe, intentional, and fun spaces for all those who identify as LGBTQ+ to come together and build community -- all while supporting the mission of Habitat for Humanity.
This event will be hosted at our Gresham ReStore located at 610 NE 181st Ave. on Tuesday, July 16th, from 8:30-11:00am.
The Habitat for Humanity ReStores are home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used furniture, home decor, appliances, building materials, light fixtures, and more to the public at discounted prices. All proceeds support local Habitat for Humanity homebuilding programs.
Volunteers will be helping the ReStore with beautification projects including interior painting, exterior landscaping, and furniture assembly.
Schedule
- 8:30: Check-in and Coffee
- 8:30-9:00: Introduction circle
- 9:00-11:00: Projects
- 11:00 :Ending circle and group photo
Please wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing that you do not mind becoming dirty.
